The list of existing audio formats is quite long and it is obvious your devices are not designed to support them all: say, some of them are supported by your stationary DVD and some – by your portable device. Step 1: Download and install AVS Audio Converter

Download AVS Audio Converter, run AVSAudioConverter.exe and follow the installation wizard instructions.

Step 2: Load your tracks to convert

Select the desired files from a folder and press the Open button:

  • To add the whole audio contents of a folder. Click the Add Folder button:

Step 3: Set the desired output audio format

As soon as you selected the files for conversion pay attention to the upright button bar placed at the top area of AVS Audio Converter. Click the button corresponding to the necessary format for conversion. Depending upon the format you choose AVS Audio Converter estimates the disk space required for converted files automatically — so as to avoid problems during or after the conversion process:

Step 4: Select a preset

We already adjusted ready-to-use parameters for you by means of a few presets for each format. Just drop down the combo box labelled as Select preset and choose a profile fitting your needs:

If a preset doesn't suit you somehow you can edit it using the format Profile Editor, click the Edit profile button to open its window:

In that window select the desired value for Sample Rate, Bitrate and Channels and click OK:

Step 5: Assign a directory for saving the converted tracks

Now you should define a folder to save the resulting files. To do that click the Browse button right to the edit box labelled as Open Folder:

Step 6: Start the conversion

Finally all is left to do is to click the Convert now! button and wait till the process is completed (the duration will depend on the quantity of files to convert, their length and your hardware performance).

Some time later you can check the converted files in the assigned output folder and transfer them to any supported device.
