About Me...

I have many years of experience working in computer related fields. In the past I have worked as a System Administrator, an I. T. specialist and as a  Computing Consultant.  I  have worked with most operating systems at one time or another and many different brands and models of computer systems, servers, mini computers and mainframes.  Just like you I use a lot of electronic gizmos and gadgets and just like you I often have to spend a great deal of time learning how to do things.

I have often been called upon  to keep older machines running and usable. This has given me ample opportunity to work on my computer building skills and has afforded me a great deal of experience with hardware replacements.

As part of my professional work I have also written a lot of  instructional material and documented many procedures and processes.    My experience with computers and gadgets combined with my experience in instructional and technical writing put me into a position where I can help others.

Goals...

This is where GizGadMo comes in.  I have created this website to help others deal with some of the same issues I have come accross and to hopefully point  them in the right direction on a number of topics.  I am looking to make some resource connections through this website. No one person can know everything and people in similar roles can often be the best resource you can have when unfamiliar problems arise.
